Since this morning 9 women have boarded a plane in Ireland, paid up to €1,000 and been considered a criminal in the pursuit of a safe abortion.

"Woman" is an activist who is bringing a court case against the Irish government to legalise abortion. Now she needs a man, to be specific she needs sperm.

Brief was developed through research with Abigail Fitzgibbon of British Pregnancy Advisory Service, Mara Clarke of Abortion Network Support, General Practitioner Tony Burch, Solicitor Eugenia Low, activists Sandra McAvoy and Diane Munday.
Brief was work-shopped in a residency supported by Ovalhouse and was presented at SHOW Festival 2014.
